BAJx Graff Fine Jewellery Project
I was awarded Third Place in the BAJ × Graff Fine Jewellery Project, a collaboration between the British Academy of Jewellery and Graff.
The project invited students to design a Graff-inspired piece centred around a 3D-printed resin replica of an 18.38-carat pear-shaped diamond. Through gouache rendering, CAD development and technical making, the brief offered an opportunity to engage with the precision and elegance of high jewellery.
My design, Surround Necklace, was inspired by the architecture of the Casino de Monte Carlo and the glamour of Monaco. Combining delicate rounded forms with the brilliance of diamonds, the piece was conceived as a radiant and elegant composition, balancing structure, light and opulence.
This project became an important part of my development, allowing me to refine both my technical skills and my sensitivity to luxury jewellery design.
